Baker Tilly continues its investment in the digital space, helping clients drive sustainable growth and stay ahead of the technology revolution.
In a move that amplifies Baker Tilly US’s existing product development capabilities and extensive digital practice, the firm has announced it has acquired Houston-based technology and services company, AcctTwo, the leading Sage Intacct Partner. The acquisition becomes effective 1 October 2021.
Baker Tilly US’s ethos centres around leveraging best-in-class technologies to deliver customised accounting, finance and operational assistance, as Angela MacPhee, Baker Tilly Consulting Managing Partner explains.
“We are investing heavily in the digital space to help our clients drive sustainable growth and stay ahead of the technology revolution. Together with AcctTwo, Baker Tilly’s end-to-end solutions can meet the needs of businesses in any stage of their life cycle.”
“This is a powerful combination where our vision and strategy align,” said AcctTwo founder and CEO Marcus Wagner.
“Being deep in the technology sphere, we wanted a partner with advisory CPA expertise and the same commitment to clients and future growth.”
Adam Granger, Chief Information Officer for the Baker Tilly global network added: “This combination is a significant further strengthening of Baker Tilly US’s leading and ever-growing digital practice. The combination with AcctTwo adds many new skills, tools and expertise to help Baker Tilly’s clients more than ever”.
